GADANSU Announces Successful Orientation for Volunteer Teachers (3 DAYS)
The GaDangme National Students Union (GADANSU) is pleased to announce the successful organisation of an orientation session for Volunteer Teachers under the GaDangme Volunteer Teachers Program, held on Wednesday, 29th October to Friday 31st October, 2025
The event formed part of GADANSU’s broader efforts to support education delivery and promote youth participation in community development across GaDangme areas.
The orientation brought together a number of trained but yet-to-be-posted teachers who have volunteered to serve in basic schools within underserved GaDangme communities. Participants were taken through key sessions on professional ethics, classroom management, educational policies, and community engagement to adequately prepare them for their teaching roles.
The program aims to bridge the teacher deficit in GaDangme communities while empowering the youth to contribute meaningfully to national development through education.
GADANSU expressed appreciation to all stakeholders and regional education authorities for their collaboration and support toward the success of the initiative. The Union reaffirmed its commitment to sustaining the program and expanding it to reach more communities.
