EMPOWERING YOUTH, PROMOTING EQUALITY: GADANSU AT THE MINISTRY OF GENDER, CHILDREN, AND SOCIAL PROTECTION
The leadership of the GaDangme National Students’ Union (GADANSU) on Tuesday 11th November, 2025 paid a courtesy visit to the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection to discuss partnership opportunities in promoting youth development, gender equality, and educational empowerment.
The engagement formed part of GADANSU’s ongoing efforts to collaborate with national institutions in advancing inclusive education and preserving GaDangme cultural identity.
During the meeting, the delegation introduced the GaDangme Volunteer Teachers Program Initiative, designed to support language and cultural education in basic schools while encouraging youth volunteerism.
GADANSU also presented a Citation of Honour to the Honourable Minister in recognition of her appointment and dedicated service to national development.
The Union expressed appreciation to the Ministry for the warm reception and pledged to strengthen collaboration toward promoting girl-child education, child protection, and youth leadership across GaDangme communities.
