GADANSU PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO THE REGIONAL HEALTH DIRECTORATE
On Monday, 4th August, 2025 I led GADANSU delegation to paid a courtesy visit to the Greater Accra Regional Health Directorate to introduce the Union and explore possible areas of collaboration.
During the engagement, the leadership of GADANSU outlined some of the health-related concerns affecting GaDangme communities, including limited access to basic healthcare services, rising cases of preventable diseases, and lack of health education in rural and peri-urban areas. In response, the Greater Accra Regional Health Director commended GADANSU’s proactive initiative and reaffirmed the Directorate’s commitment to working closely with the Union.
The Director assured the delegation of their full cooperation in supporting community-based health interventions, mobilizing health professionals for outreach programs, and partnering on public health campaigns that aim to improve health outcomes across GaDangme communities.
As a youth-led organization rooted in advocacy and development, GADANSU is fully committed and ready to support all state institutions in the Greater Accra Region in the effective execution of their mandates, especially in underserved GaDangme communities.
This partnership represents a shared vision to strengthen health systems at the grassroots level through inter-sectoral collaboration, youth leadership, and community engagement.
