GADANSU PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO NUUMO AKWAA MENSAH III, THE HIGHEST CHIEF PRIEST OF THE GA STATE

On Tuesday, 14th October, a delegation from the GaDangme National Students’ Union (GADANSU) paid a solemn courtesy visit to Nuumo Akwaa Mensah III, Nae Wulomo, the Highest Chief Priest of the Ga State, to officially introduce the Union’s flagship Volunteer Teacher Program and other upcoming educational initiatives.

The visit formed part of GADANSU’s effort to seek traditional guidance, spiritual direction, and cultural legitimacy as the Union embarks on a mission to support deprived schools within GaDangme communities through volunteer teaching, mentorship, and literacy support.

The leadership of GADANSU humbly presented the objectives of the Volunteer Teacher Program and called on Nuumo Akwaa Mensah III for his endorsement and blessings towards the successful rollout of this humanitarian initiative.

Nuumo Akwaa Mensah III received the delegation with great honour and offered his full moral support and fatherly counsel, commending GADANSU for taking bold steps toward restoring educational excellence and cultural responsibility among the youth.

“You have my blessings. Education and culture must walk together, and what you have begun is a noble path,” he remarked.

GADANSU expresses its deepest appreciation to Nuumo Akwaa Mensah III for his warm reception, encouraging words, and readiness to support the Union’s cause. His endorsement marks a significant milestone in strengthening the bridge between traditional authority and youth-led development.

GADANSU remains committed to advancing education and upholding identity across all GaDangme communities and will continue to engage key stakeholders to ensure collective impact.
