GADANSU LEADERSHIP PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO HON. BERNARD KORLEY

On Sunday, 17th August 2025, a delegation from the GaDangme National Students’ Union (GADANSU), led by its President, Nii Adjei Tawiah Isaac, paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Bernard Korley, a distinguished Patron

The visit was aimed at formally introducing the Union’s leadership, presenting a comprehensive report on its past activities, and sharing upcoming initiatives with particular emphasis on the flagship GaDangme Volunteer Teachers Program (GVTP). This program, implemented in collaboration with the Ghana Education Service, seeks to tackle the acute shortage of Ga and Dangme language teachers across the Greater Accra Region.

Acknowledging the significance of this intervention, Hon. Bernard Korley pledged Ten Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH¢10,000) to support the program and assured GADANSU of his unwavering commitment to its activities and projects.

In his presentation, President Nii Adjei Tawiah highlighted GADANSU’s progress since inception, noting key achievements in educational outreach, cultural preservation, student empowerment, and community service.

The meeting concluded with a renewed spirit of partnership, as both parties reaffirmed their shared dedication to promoting the welfare of GaDangme students, youth, and the wider community.
