TEMA METROPOLIS EDUCATION DIRECTORATE PLEDGES FULL SUPPORT FOR GADANGME VOLUNTEER TEACHERS PROGRAM
Today, The GaDangme National Students’ Union (GADANSU) has secured the commitment of the Tema Metropolis Education Directorate towards the successful implementation of the GaDangme Volunteer Teachers Program.
During a meeting held today, the Education Director assured her full support for the initiative, emphasizing its importance in sustaining the teaching and learning of the Ga language within schools across the Metropolis.
“The shortage of Ga language teachers has been a challenge for many schools. This program is timely, and we are ready to support GADANSU to ensure it makes the needed impact,” the Director noted.
The President of GADANSU also used the opportunity to introduce the Metropolis Coordinator for the Volunteer Teachers Program, Mr. Nii Anum Samuel, to the Education Director. This step was welcomed as a way of strengthening collaboration at the local level for effective program implementation.
On behalf of the Union, the leadership of GADANSU reaffirmed their dedication to deploying disciplined and professional Volunteer Teachers who will contribute positively to the educational landscape.
This engagement forms part of GADANSU’s ongoing stakeholder consultations to build strong partnerships for the advancement of Ga language education and cultural preservation.
