GADANSU SIGNS MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH THE NATIONAL COMMISSION ON CULTURE
The GaDangme National Students’ Union (GADANSU) is proud to announce the successful signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Commission on Culture (NCC).
This landmark partnership marks a significant step towards the promotion, preservation, and revitalization of GaDangme language, culture, and heritage across Ghana.
The MoU establishes a strategic framework for collaboration in key areas including:
- Cultural education and awareness
- Promotion of Ga and Dangme languages in schools
- Youth empowerment and capacity building
- Community engagement and cultural advocacy
Speaking at the signing ceremony, representatives of both institutions emphasized the importance of safeguarding indigenous identity and ensuring that future generations remain connected to their cultural roots.
GADANSU reaffirmed its commitment to advancing its flagship initiatives, particularly the GaDangme Volunteer Teachers Program, as a practical response to the decline in local language instruction.
The NCC also reiterated its mandate to preserve and promote Ghana’s rich cultural heritage through partnerships that empower the youth and strengthen national identity. �
