GADANSU is the GaDangme National Students’ Union, a legally recognized youth-led organization that represents GaDangme students and graduates across Ghana. We focus on education, cultural identity, leadership development, and youth empowerment.

Membership is open to:

  • GaDangme students in basic, secondary, and tertiary institutions

  • GaDangme graduates

  • Youth from Ga and Dangme communities who support our mission

You can join by completing the membership form on our website or contacting your school’s GADANSU chapter. Once registered, you will be added to official communication platforms and invited to programs, meetings, and initiatives.

Our key initiatives include:

  • GaDangme Educational Outreach – promoting literacy, mentorship, and cultural awareness in schools.
  • Volunteer Teachers Program (VTP) – deploying volunteer teachers in partnership with the Ghana Education Service (GES) to support schools experiencing teacher shortages.
You can volunteer by signing up through our website or contacting your local GADANSU leadership. Volunteers support teaching, mentorship, outreach events, cultural programs, and community development activities.

Yes. We collaborate with:

  • Greater Accra Regional House of Chiefs
  • Ghana Education Service (GES)
  • Ghana Health Service (GHS)
  • Traditional councils
  • Schools and student bodies

These partnerships help us deliver impactful programs.

The VTP recruits and deploys qualified GaDangme volunteers to schools in need of teachers. Volunteers receive orientation and are supported throughout their service period to ensure effective teaching and community engagement.
