ENGAGEMENT WITH GA CENTRAL MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY ON THE GADANGME VOLUNTEER TEACHERS PROGRAM
On Tuesday 16th September, a delegation from GADANSU engaged with the Ga Central Municipal Assembly regarding the upcoming GaDangme Volunteer Teachers Program. The meeting was chaired by Mr. John Owusu, Municipal Director, who represented the Municipal Chief Executive Hon. Emmanuel Adotey Allotey.
Discussions centered on the arrangements for the implementation of the program and how the Assembly can support efforts to strengthen the teaching and learning of Ga language within the Municipality.
Mr. Owusu highlighted the Assembly’s interest in promoting Ga language education and expressed their readiness to collaborate with GADANSU to ensure the program achieves its intended impact.
On behalf of the Union, The President assured the Assembly of their commitment to deploy dedicated Volunteer Teachers who will uphold discipline and professionalism while serving in schools.
This engagement forms part of our broader stakeholder consultations to secure partnerships that will enhance the success of the GaDangme Volunteer Teachers Program.
